Disrupted ISS Terror Plot Cancels Taylor Swift Vienna Concert

08-Aug-2024

An intelligence tip led to the arrest of an ISIS radicalized 19 year-old Austrian, and others, that planned a suicide bombing attack at the Taylor Swift concert.  Gerhard Karner, Austria's interior minister confirmed the suspect admitted to planning the attack targeting fans at the stadium.  Home made explosives, detonators, knives and other weapons were seized during the arrest of the 19 year-old and his teenage accomplices.  The chemicals used to make the home made explosive TATP were stolen by the alleged perpetrator from his previous employer.

HazMasterG3 is the only available system with a patented pre-trained decision engine that provides answers to key questions like what could be made from a cache of stolen chemicals.  With the ability to integrate readings directly from chemical detectors, only HazMasterG3 can identify what could be made, how much could be made, how to mitigate the threats and manage the potential life, health and environmental consequences of such an incident.

With a core database of over 167,000 materials and trade names, HazMasterG3 also tracks over 30,000 of these materials that are dual-use precursors, and provides comprehensive insights into them.  Military, intelligence, police and hazmat teams rely on HazMasterG3 daily to answer "so what does that mean" types of questions to help identify and uncover plots like this one in Vienna.  Additional information on HazMasterG3 can be found here.
