HazMasterG3® Deployed as Part of Katrina Response
Since September 2nd, with New Orleans still under floodwaters, HazMasterG3® has been deployed with federal and state responders on the ground throughout Louisiana. Responding to several urgent requests, Alluviam sent additional HazMasterG3® systems to support existing response efforts in the region. Providing responders critical guidance for the spectrum of chemical and biological threats facing the flooded areas, HazMasterG3® has proved to be a valuable tool for responders on the ground.
Early feedback from these emergency deployments indicate that HazMasterG3's capabilities, which aren't dependent on external communications or internet links, has proved critical to providing comprehensive response guidance and threat assessments to responders in isolated areas - for both chemical and the biological risks that they are now confronting.
In response to several requests, Alluviam has released a Katrina preplan for use with HazMasterG3® for the primary chemical and biological threats facing the region.
